Utility workers have begun constructing poles and moving utility lines away from the sidewalk to accommodate the Meadowview Road Streetscape project. Buffered bike lanes, wider sidewalks, additional crosswalks, and vertical curbs will be added for increased safety. The streetscape includes new raised medians, drought-tolerant landscaping, enhanced paving at crosswalks, and gateway monuments. The streetscape project contributes to revitalization and beautification outlined in the 2003 Meadowview Urban Design Plan.
