We are excited to announce Carlton D. Allen, III, PE, has been named Associate | Director of Transportation Services and joined the owners at Bennett Engineering Services after seven years with the firm. With 15 years of experience, Carlton is leading the delivery of transportation engineering projects for Caltrans, the Cities of Sacramento, Elk Grove, Fairfield, and the Town of Yountville.
“Carlton’s project management experience and excellent client service have made him a valuable team member,” said Leo Rubio, president of the firm. “He has shown leadership by establishing great relationships with new and existing clients, mentoring staff, and technical leadership by developing expertise in roller-compacted concrete (RCC) technology and managing the region’s first RCC project. We look forward to having him lead the transportation group as we grow the firm.”
Carlton specializes in transportation and storm water design, State and Federal funding processes, and innovative pavement rehabilitation. As a project manager and project engineer he has successfully delivered local, state, and federally funded projects for public agency clients such as Caltrans, Placer County, the Cities of Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Fairfield, Lincoln, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, Stockton, and West Sacramento.
