On October 27, 2024, the BEN|EN staff and friends took part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at California State University Sacramento, in partnership with the American Cancer Society. We’re thrilled to share that we exceeded our fundraising goal! We’re excited to announce two new additions to the team! Bennett Engineering Services welcomes Dearra Schumichen and Samantha Hildebrandt. Dearra has joined our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant and Samantha is an Assistant Engineer for our Water Resources sector. Dearra graduated from California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) with her degree in English. She began her marketing journey as an intern and then joined Shred City, where she worked as an Administrative Assistant and then became promoted to Social Media…
BEN|EN had a great time at Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) in late February – a collaboration between the ASCE Sacramento YMF and Sacramento State College of Engineering and Computer Science. We hope the event made a lasting impression on the curious, young women interested in learning more about engineering. It is truly rewarding to mentor potential future engineers. We look forward to being a part of this event next year!
