First Roundabout Interchange on the Interstate Highway System in California
This project constructed two-lane roundabouts at the I-80 off-ramp intersections at the interchange with SR 89 South, including lighting and overhead signs. This improved traffic operations and enhanced traffic safety at the I-80/SR 89 S Interchange. BENEN prepared plans, specifications, and cost estimates for lighting, signing, pavement delineation, and staged construction traffic handling.
