BENEN develops innovative and cost-effective solutions to transportation, traffic, water, wastewater, drainage, site development, parks and recreation and other important infrastructure projects. Providing high-quality civil engineering services to local cities, counties, private companies, and other professionals has always been our focus. What sets us apart is our ability to partner with clients early on in project development and retain that partnership through construction.
History
BENEN (Bennett Engineering Services Inc), as it is organized today, has been providing service since 1995 from its Roseville, California headquarters and as Bennett Engineering Services starting in 2008. On January 1, 2023, the firm merged with Y&C Transportation Consultants, adding traffic design expertise and offices in Sacramento and the Bay Area. In 2025, the firm began doing business as BENEN. The firm now offers the services of almost 50 staff, including 21 licensed professional engineers.
The firm’s culture includes a commitment to staff retention. This provides an experienced and highly technical project team. We believe offering dedicated staff and assuring a cohesive team from project inception to completion maximizes client confidence.

Our staff team is led by a diverse group of talented and highly experienced licensed professionals. We are a California Department of General Services-certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE) #52302 and a California Unified Certification Program Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) #43459.
BENEN has the flexibility to supplement our project teams by partnering with subconsultant firms with experts in specific specialties, including environmental, landscape, traffic, electrical, geotechnical, architectural, and structural engineering. These firms have a proven track record of working well with our staff and clients and bring to the table expertise on similar projects. By structuring a project team to fit the project requirements, we provide numerous benefits to clients, including, but not limited to the following:
