Well-Loved Park Earns a New Master Plan and Design

Bennett Engineering Services provided civil engineering assistance as a subconsultant. Tasks included design of a parking layout plan to include required ADA-compliant spaces and access for special event vehicles, grading and drainage, utility (water and sewer) schematic, offsite schematic for curb ramps, and permeable paver structural section design for traffic loading based on information from the geotechnical report and truck data from the District. The team also completed client coordination and utility coordination, completed low-impact development stormwater quality measures, hydromodification design, stormwater calculations, and report. The project included a plaza park, village park, clubhouse, amphitheater, commercial building, and ADA-accessible ramps.
