Flightline Drive Rehabilitation and Realignment

Roadway Rehabilitation Improves Entrance to Regional Airport

This roadway rehabilitation project, which included reconstruction of poor pavement that showed extensive alligator cracking and rutting, was funded by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant.

The design used full depth reclamation (FDR) in the reconstruction of approximately 2,850 feet of roadway and associated sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps. The project also included repair of driveway subgrade, repair of an existing drainage inlet, and repair of the irrigation system.
