We are excited to announce Jorge Renteria, PE, has been named Associate | Transportation Operations Manager and joined the owners at Bennett Engineering Services after seven years with the firm. With 15 years of experience, Jorge is leading the delivery of transportation engineering projects in the Cities of Citrus Heights, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, Sacramento, and West Sacramento.
“Jorge’s clients admire his flexibility, communication skills, responsiveness, and quality design,” said Leo Rubio, president of the firm. “He has shown his ability to lead by mentoring our staff and establishing strong relationships with new and existing clients. We look forward to having him lead the transportation operations as we grow the firm.”
Jorge’s project management and transportation design experience includes Complete Streets, Safe Routes to School, Active Transportation Program (ATP), Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), roadway rehabilitation, and trail projects. As a project manager, he has experience helping cities navigate the state and federal funding process. He has extensive experience in right-of-way engineering from his work for the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Jorge has also led several successful ATP and HSIP grant application efforts.
